lung function

Hello, I was at the pulmonologist yesterday, had to go into a chamber for lung function tests and because I struggled a bit, I had to blow against resistance several times. Today my entire chest and lungs hurt. The lung function test was fine. Is this just muscle soreness or should I be worried?
Good day,
This is muscle soreness! Most people breathe so shallowly that they don't use the muscles needed for deep inhalation. They are naturally a bit irritated today. What is hurting is definitely not the lungs, because they do not hurt.
If you are already getting muscle soreness from this breathing work, you should consider sports (jogging, cycling) or music (singing, playing a wind instrument). In any case, make sure to regularly do breathing exercises to strengthen the relevant structures.
Sincerely, Dr. Gehring
