Hello, I have a fungus in my mouth and esophagus and have been taking Nystatin Suspension for a week now. I just noticed yesterday that I have taste disturbances. Is this a side effect and will it go away? I am a bit worried.

Taste disturbances are not a side effect of Nystatin. However, they can occur, for example, in sinusitis, but also in infections with the new coronavirus. Therefore, please contact your doctor or health department by phone, even without accompanying symptoms of an infection.
