ruptured cyst
Hello dear medical team,
I am feeling quite unsure. I have been experiencing strong lower abdominal/pelvic pain for 5 days now, which radiates to my back. After visiting my general practitioner and having a normal blood test result, I went to see my gynecologist. She diagnosed a ruptured cyst yesterday. She mentioned that it is not a big concern and the pain should improve soon. Unfortunately, I have read some not very reassuring information about ruptured cysts online. Since I am still in pain, I have a few questions for you:
1. How long can these pains continue? (today is Day 5)
2. What pain medication can I take?
My gynecologist does not have office hours this afternoon, so I am reaching out to you for help!
