Getting pregnant

My friend and I have been trying to get pregnant for a year now.
Unfortunately, it hasn't worked so far.
We have tried a lot - eating oysters, protein powder, zinc tablets...
nothing has helped.
Now I wanted to ask if there is any medical treatment to improve our fertility - possibly one where I could easily ask my doctor for a prescription without them denying it... it really has to work.
Dear questioner,
There doesn't seem to be a gynecologist in the forum right now, so I would like to respond to you. I am not aware of any specific method that universally increases fertility. I sense from the way you ask that you seem to be putting yourself under a lot of pressure.
As a medical professional, I can see that there are many factors that determine whether or not one becomes pregnant, so it is not uncommon that you have been trying for a year and it has not happened yet.
It would be advisable, since you are concerned, for both of you to undergo examinations to rule out any organic cause. For women who have been on birth control pills for a long time, it may be necessary to stimulate the ovaries with hormone therapy to stimulate production.
You should try to determine your fertile days using the temperature measurement method and try to conceive during those times, but without pressure.
Do you have any questions?
Regards, C. Welsch
