PAP to Koni

I already wrote here in March regarding the low PAP value of 4a and the cone biopsy. At that time, everything was removed in a healthy manner, it was CIN III. In mid-May, my gynecologist performed an HPV test, which was negative, and also recommended the vaccination to me, I have now already had the 2nd dose.

Now my question is, I have of course had the PAP test done again, what is the likelihood of having a low value again and the whole thing starting over. Was the HPV test done too early? Or is this a sign that maybe everything is gone since it was negative. Unfortunately, my gynecologist only says - the PAP is probably now a 2. But I am totally desperate, I have a 1-year-old son and am in total panic. What would be the next steps if the PAP test is once again low? Is there a possibility that I am already completely cancerous and would a re-cone biopsy be enough. Please give me some information.

Thank you very much and best regards.

Hello,

It was important to remove the PAP 4. It has been removed in the healthy tissue, so there is currently no danger. Vaccination is important, as it can reduce the risk of a recurrence of the "disease" by up to 75%. The test was certainly not done early enough in your case.
Continue with 3-monthly check-ups with your gynecologist, so that early detection can prevent anything from happening.
If another surgery is necessary, a re-conization or laser vaporization can be performed. Don't worry, you definitely do not have cervical cancer. All the best!
