mucous membrane growth
Hello, I hope you can help me. I have repeatedly had a fungal or bacteria-related vaginal infection. About a year ago, my doctor told me that my vaginal flora was not acidic enough (due to breastfeeding) and that this could lead to such infections. This was treated accordingly, but it has not been resolved and keeps recurring. I always treat it with lactic acid preparations. Additionally, about 6 years ago I had a conization (PAP 3 or 4).
Yesterday, I examined my vagina closely due to the recurrent infection and discovered strange stalk-like growths at the vaginal entrance (towards the anus, about three times the size of a rice grain, mucous membrane colored, growing towards the center). There are about four of them. This alarmed me and I visited my gynecologist today. She again found a high pH level and we are now waiting for the lab results of the swabs before treating the infection. Because of the stalk-like growths, she prescribed a solution for genital warts, as I once had an HPV infection. I looked at pictures of genital warts and they look different from my mucous membrane changes.
The color of mine is exactly like the rest of the mucous membrane, red and shiny, they are about 1-2 cm long and not cauliflower-like at all. What could this be??? Please help me! Should I use this solution to treat the warts or could I make a mistake if it is something else? I can't find any pictures that look like mine anywhere.
Thank you in advance.
