Day of Fertilization

Dear Sir or Madam,
I would like to know the day of fertilization.
The first day of my last period was on 2.10.2012. My cycle always lasted 27-29 days. The estimated due date was initially set to 9.7.13 and confirmed by ultrasound in the 11th week.
I did not have intercourse 3-5 days before ovulation, but only on 17.10, 18.10, and 21.10.2012.
In your opinion, which day do you think is the day of fertilization? I rule out 21.10, what do you think?
Kind regards
Hello,
I would agree with your assessment regarding the 12th of October, provided that your cycle is so stable. The highest probability of getting pregnant would theoretically be between the 15th and the 18th of October. An "estimate" of whether this happened on the 17th or 18th is therefore not possible. The probability on these two days is almost identical.
If one were to estimate as you wish, one should know the quality of the sperm of the partner during intercourse. Assuming normal sperm, the probability is high that intercourse on the 17th has already led to fertilization. But as mentioned, these are just estimates.
If there were different partners on the 17th and 18th, only a paternity test can provide clarification.
I hope I could help you further.
With kind regards, Dr. R. C. Berg
