Blood, discharge, and pain after sexual intercourse.
Hello,
I currently have a major problem. My girlfriend and I have been together for about 6 months now. At the beginning, we had sex very often. However, for the past 2 months, she has been experiencing complications after sex. She had breast augmentation on January 4th and subsequently developed a yeast infection, which we treated with Kadefungin for both her and me (assuming it's gone now, as we were abstinent during the healing phase). In late January, she was diagnosed with HPV and now needs to have a Pap smear every 3 months to monitor the progression. Until a few weeks ago, she used to have strong abdominal pain after sex and felt really unwell. Now she is bleeding after intercourse. We had sex on Sunday evening and afterwards she went to the bathroom and said she was bleeding, it was pink and not much. But she's worried about it. The abdominal pain, including pelvic pain, still persists (now for 2.5 days and she told me today: It can only be because of you. She only had this issue since we've been together. Never had it before with anyone else. (she hadn't had sex for 3 years before me!) However, my ex-girlfriends never had these problems either. She also mentioned something about a strange discharge. Her stomach seemed a bit bloated like there was air in it and she felt like she was about to get her period. However, she just had it 1.5 weeks ago. I take great care of my hygiene, shower at least once a day. I also wash myself with extra pH-neutral soap. What could be the reason for this? Do I really need to worry? She only has an appointment with her gynecologist in mid-April, so she doesn't want to have sex until it's clear what's going on. She can't go earlier because she just started a new job. Her comments about me really hurt me. Do you happen to know what could be causing this?
