Mild symptoms and new questions

Hello... Unfortunately, I have to contact you again, as I still can't seem to find peace with everything. I have finally managed to schedule an appointment with my GP for a referral to a psychologist... After that episode of excessive sweating, I haven't had any sweating in the following days... instead, I have been experiencing strange hot flashes just before falling asleep for the past 2 nights. I'm not sure if this is related to my mental state, what do you think? I find it comfortable with the window open, so I don't cover my whole body, but as it gets colder, I start to feel these strange hot flashes under the blanket, towards sweating. When I closed the window and turned on the heating slightly, I slept without the blanket and didn't sweat. It's strange, isn't it? Is it harmless? I haven't completely forgotten about these night sweats, but they would have to be more severe or almost constant for it to be something serious...
But the main reason I am writing is because I have been experiencing strange pains for weeks now, mostly on the right side of my abdomen, at rib level, exactly where the liver is located. These are very localized pains or a pulling sensation, not very intense, but sometimes uncomfortable. If I remember correctly, I had experienced this a few years/many months ago... Now, my fears are naturally linked to the other "symptoms," such as an enlarged liver pressing on the diaphragm or nerves... maybe even something related to leukemia? I always read that one should rule out any organic causes, but I can't imagine that it could be coming from the liver...
Would an acute condition be ruled out if I haven't noticed any significant worsening after 4 weeks of worrying? Physically, everything seems to be fine... Thank you and best regards.

Hello,

Progress with your psychological help is moving very slowly; I hope you have already asked for appointments last year.

The liver is not the cause of your symptoms, as it is a dull pain. It is more likely to be bloating, which can cause stabbing pain. Air has less space in the right upper abdomen because of the liver, which can cause a stabbing sensation.

If you sleep in heated rooms, night sweats should not surprise you! It's good that you have now addressed this.

Warm regards, Dr. Gehring
