Foot pain

Hello again, I hope you may still be awake... My foot pain is still there, sometimes more sometimes less, but just now I noticed a long green spot exactly at the spot, like a bruise that is already fading! It's not swollen though... you scared me a bit with the gout attack because of my kidney history, but I think it would have to be much thicker for that... now I'm afraid of a thrombosis! My platelet count has always been very low, is that an exaggeration? I don't have any pain when sitting or without exertion, I just don't know where I could have bruised myself, can you reassure me? I'm worried about the vacation next week! Greetings

Dr. med. Frauke Gehring

Good evening,

A bruise hurts, and it seems like you have one. Nothing more, and if that already scares you, I am worried about your psyche.
A gout attack makes the foot or toe highly red and extremely painful swell.
A thrombosis makes the entire lower leg swell and does not cause bruises. Also, you have no risk factors, on the contrary.
Good night!

Warm regards, Dr. Gehring
