Urge to urinate during sex

Hello,

I am afraid of feeling the urge to urinate during sex and having to pause because of it. That's why I always go to the bathroom beforehand. Sometimes I still feel the urge to urinate, even though I just went to the bathroom. Otherwise, I never have any bladder issues. Could this be due to nervousness? Or could the tension of the pelvic floor muscles (to control the pressure in the penis/to tighten it) or the abdominal muscles potentially have an influence on this?

This can indeed cause nervousness if you are actually nervous. In this case, it will go away on its own. Prostate irritation or even a mild prostate inflammation can also cause similar symptoms.
