Good evening,
I am 32 years old and come from Mittelbiberach. On 17.07. I sprained my right ankle. However, I still have pain in the area of the inner ankle. A bone injury was ruled out at the hospital at that time. What could be the cause of the pain? I am wearing an Air-Cast brace. However, I can't put it on properly because it puts pressure on the ankle and hurts. I also can't turn my foot inward properly. What should I do?
I am so terrified of doctors and especially of needles.

I understand your concerns and fears.
These symptoms may be due to a sprained ligament or even a ligament tear. This means a very lengthy healing process. It is important to rest in the initial phase so that the affected ligament can heal. BUT it should then be gradually used so that it does not shorten and cause problems again.
Therefore, I would recommend now completely removing the splint and starting with cautious loading/partial loading. Move the joint, but not beyond the pain.
It is important here to have regular movement WITHOUT loading.
You can massage your ankle with Arnica oil in the evening and morning, as this promotes healing. Additionally, after a busy day, you should rest and elevate your leg. If it is swollen, then apply ice.
Wear sturdy footwear that protects your ankle and stabilizes your walking, thus relieving the foot.
