MRI findings?

Hello, I have received my MRI report: it states Bilateral Spondylolysis L4/L5 with Spondylolisthesis Grade I-II of approximately 1cm. Severe osteochondrosis and deforming spondylosis L4/L5 with extensive disc protrusion reaching into the intervertebral foramen and compression of the intervertebral foramen nerve roots L4 on both sides. I have an appointment in January for the hospital. I would like to know what will be done there. Thank you in advance. Fellner

Dear questioner , you have a severely worn spine with a disc bulge that is pressing on the nerve roots . As long as you do not have unbearable pain or motor deficits , surgery is not necessary , roughly speaking . The decisive factor in such findings is always the symptom picture, not how bad the imaging looks . Do you have any questions? Regards C. Welsch
