uterine prolapse
I have just turned 44, have given birth to 5 children, and believe I have a uterine prolapse. My symptoms include a little bit of pink protruding from the vagina, difficulty holding urine so when I feel the need to go, I have to go immediately, increased discharge, and difficulty with bowel movements. I have not seen a gynecologist in 8 years. I suffer from severe anxiety neurosis which is why I am retired. My problem is that I almost faint when I sit in the waiting room and I cannot bring myself to go in to see the doctor. Many doctors tell me not to make a big deal out of it, and so I am too scared to go.
