NT measurement

Good day,

I am currently feeling completely desperate. I had an NT measurement done and received the results over the phone, stating that all values are appropriate for my age and everything is fine. However, I just received the test results from the laboratory by post and I feel very sick. The results are as follows:

Weeks of gestation: 11
Gestational age: 3 days
Crown-rump length: 47.2
Nuchal translucency: 2.7
Age: 31
Weight: 58 kg

1st Trimester Down-Screening:
PAPP-A: 2432
MoM PAPP-A: 1.04
Free ß-hCG: 197.3
MoM ß-hCG: 3.78

Age-related risk of Trisomy 21: 1:472
Biochemical risk of Trisomy 21: 1:247

Individual risk of Trisomy 21 taking into account age, biochemistry, and ultrasound findings, calculated with ASTRAIA, Version 208. The threshold for further investigation is 1:250.

Based on the patient data provided by you:
The patient's individual risk for Trisomy 21 is higher than the purely statistical age-related risk and exceeds the threshold for further investigation. Therefore, an amniocentesis is recommended.

Now my question is: Why did the doctor tell me over the phone that everything is okay when the laboratory recommends further testing? Should I go for the amniocentesis on Monday, which I am really afraid of? I feel so terrible and now it's also the weekend....

Thank you for your quick help!!!!
