Fluomycin N against vaginal infection

Hello dear medical team,
Today I was prescribed Fluomycin N by the substitute doctor of my gynecologist for a vaginal infection. I am not allowed to have intercourse during the treatment with the vaginal tablets and should go back for a check-up in 2 weeks when my doctor is back from vacation. But what about my partner? He should also be treated, as otherwise there will be a ping-pong effect and I could get infected again from him. Even if we don't have intercourse for 2 weeks, I go back to my doctor afterwards and she doesn't find anything anymore, I could get infected again after the next intercourse with him. Is there a medication that we can get for him at the pharmacy?
Thank you for your advice!
Dear inquirer,
Since the suppository you are taking is effective against bacterial, fungal, and Trichomonas-induced vaginal infections, your concern doesn't necessarily have to come true. (Trichomonas, for example, have difficulty surviving outside the vagina). Therefore, I would advise you to take the following steps: 1. Talk to your partner about the issue, ask or check if he also has any symptoms, burning, or changes on the penis or glans. If yes, please also see a doctor and get treated together. If not, abstain for 2 weeks and maintain usual genital hygiene. In no case can I advise you to have your partner take antibiotics or antifungal medication without evidence of an infection. These medications are usually prescription-only and cannot be obtained over the counter at a pharmacy. I hope this information helps you.
