Urgent help Strong menstrual cramps

I took an Ibumentin 400 mg forte two hours ago. However, I am now experiencing severe menstrual cramps. I am sweating from the pain and can't walk straight, so I decided to stay home today. I asked you yesterday. Can I take another one now? It is recommended to only take one every 4 hours. What would happen if I took another one now? I am really curled up in bed and I doubt I can last another 2 hours.. It feels like a thousand needles when the pain comes, and then the tears come from the pain. I have been taking Ibumetin for 7 days (for severe PMS), ruling out Endometriosis. I cannot take the pill due to a hormone and thyroid condition.

Good day,

You may take 800mg within 2 hours, but then only another 800mg within 24 hours. However, I strongly advise consulting a gynecologist to determine the cause of these unusually severe pains! It could also be something serious.

Sincerely, Dr. Höllering
