Karison cream

Dear Sir or Madam,

For the past 3 weeks, I have been experiencing constant tingling/itching in my lower abdomen. It is only present in the front area (around the clitoris). A fungal infection has been ruled out, as I have been taking an antifungal medication for the past 3 weeks. Today, my doctor took a swab and prescribed me the cream Karison for the tingling/itching. I read in the instructions that the cream is not intended for use in the anal and genital area. Why was I still prescribed the cream, can I still use it? I just don't know what to do anymore. It is an unbearable feeling in my lower abdomen. I feel like my gynecologist can no longer help me. I have already been prescribed antibiotics as I also have a urinary tract infection. Even that hasn't made the symptom go away. Is there any clinic in Germany that can help me further??? I urgently need help!

Dear questioner, Karison is only approved for very specific types of inflammation in the genital area. Please seek a second opinion from a gynecologist. Testing for resistant fungi or bacteria or a contact allergy should be ruled out. Regards, C. Welsch
