Lower abdominal pain when menstruation is absent
Hello,
I am 40 years old, have two children, am healthy, and not particularly prone to psychosomatic manifestations. My menstrual cycle is usually regular at 28-29 days, with the last one starting on 05.10. Over the past few months, I have had a slightly shortened second phase of my cycle, resulting in a prolonged menstrual period. As a result, I have started taking Chaste tree berries for the first time in this cycle, due to a history of LH deficiency.
For the past 1.5 weeks, I have had a constant, persistent pain on the left side of my lower abdomen, which I generally do not experience with the same intensity and persistence during PMS. It can be compared to a squeaky, uniform, medium-light tone. I feel slightly nauseous, but there are no other potential signs of pregnancy. I took a test yesterday and today (at +4-5 days), both of which were negative. There are no signs of an impending period, which I would normally experience. My doctor is on vacation, and it is Friday after 12. The symptoms bother me significantly, but not enough to seek emergency care. Do you have any ideas? It may be worth noting that 1-2 days after the assumed middle of my cycle (5 days after ovulation), I had a minimal light bleeding (in contrast to the normal bleeding).
Looking forward to hearing from you!
