"Morning-after pill"

Good day, I have a question about the emergency contraceptive pill. It is very unlikely that something has happened but not impossible. What is more stressful, taking the emergency contraceptive pill or risking a possible abortion? I have problems with my nervous system, possibly polyradiculitis or similar. I am unsure about what the emergency contraceptive pill can trigger if I take it now, but I also do not know if the 21st day of the cycle is safe? Are there known reactions/side effects that can affect the nervous system caused by the emergency contraceptive pill? I already have severe neuropathic pain and a form of polyneuropathy. I have read negative things regarding neurological assessment. I would appreciate your opinion.
Dear questioner,
According to the Red List, the common side effects of the emergency contraceptive pill EllaOne are as follows:
Common: Nausea, abdominal pain, upper abdominal pain, discomfort in the abdominal area, vomiting, headache, dizziness, menstrual cramps, pelvic pain, chest tightness, fatigue, mood swings, muscle/back pain; occasional: lower abdominal pain, diarrhea, dry mouth, constipation, digestive disorders, bloating, abnormal vaginal bleeding and menstrual disorders, vaginal inflammation, discharge, hot flashes, urinary tract infection, nasal/throat infection, influenza, fever, chills, pain, sensitivity to illness, fluctuating hunger, anxiety, general physical restlessness, sleep disorders, drowsiness, irritability, decreased/increased libido, acne, skin rash, itching, migraines, vision problems; rare: genital itching, pain during intercourse, detachment of an existing ovarian cyst, genital pain, abnormal sensitivity during menstruation, abnormally light periods, pelvic floor inflammation, urinary disorders, colored urine, kidney stones, kidney and bladder pain, heartburn, toothache, attention disorders, dizziness, trembling, confusion, impairment of smell and touch, poor sleep quality, fainting spells, abnormal sensation in the eyes, red eye, light sensitivity of the eyes, hordeolum, chest discomfort, inflammation, thirst, upper respiratory tract infections, cough, dry throat, dehydration, nosebleeds, hives, bleeding, pain in arms/legs, joint pain.
It is not excluded that there may be an adverse effect on chronic pain, however, no permanent damage should occur here.
You can take EllaOne up to 5 days after intercourse, contraindications would be severe liver damage or severe asthma.
Personally, I believe the psychological side effects of a potential abortion are much more dangerous than those of the medication. Do you have any questions? Best regards, C. Welsch
