if I'm not a fan of the pill or if I don't really tolerate it well... Are there any other options available?

Actually, they can wait to see if their period is late and if they are actually pregnant. Talk to your gynecologist about your concerns. A blood test can show early on whether you are pregnant or not.

It would also be important to know in which phase of your cycle you are, and if conception is even likely (for a regular cycle of 21 days, it would be around the 12-14th day after the last period).
