Ask a doctor on the topic of Gynecology

The German word "scheide" translates to "sheath" or "scabbard" in English.

I had a urinary tract infection for which I was prescribed Fosfomycin, Amoxicillin, and then Angocin. Now I have a slight burning/pain in my vagina? Even when I drink sparkling wine afterwards? I had this before, then I took suppositories for yeast infection and it went away, but what could it be?

Good morning,
it is possible that you have a yeast infection in your vagina after multiple antibiotics. A yeast infection is the most common cause of burning in the vagina, which seems to be the case in your situation.
A doctor can diagnose this for you or you can treat yourself with an over-the-counter cream for yeast infections, as you have done before. You can buy this at the pharmacy, possibly in combination with suppositories.
