Hello,

I have a gynecological question.
I am aware that there are cysts on the ovary that are not dangerous as they regress.
Now I have read that there are also stalked cysts that can twist around themselves and can lead to complications. Since I am a hypochondriac and do not regularly visit the gynecologist, I would like to know how common this type of cyst is. I read somewhere that it would be a special case, but it would be good to hear it from a medical professional.

Dear questioner, such cysts are very rare. Have your ovaries examined by ultrasound to rule it out if it scares you. Regards, C. Welsch
