White spots on the lip

Hello, I have had white spots on my lip for 2-3 weeks. I can feel them with my tongue! What could this be?
Dear questioner,
According to your description, it could be so-called "Fordyce glands." These are harmless, heterotopic/ectopic (located in an unusual location), free sebaceous glands that can reach a size of 1-5 mm.
They are most commonly found in the area of the oral mucosa, the lips, but also on the penis, scrotum, or vulva. They are called free sebaceous glands because they are not connected to any hair.
If you experience itching or burning, or if these spots become inflamed, please consult a dermatologist to conduct a thorough medical history.
In my opinion, there is currently no cause for concern.
I hope I have been able to help you. If you have any further questions, I am always available to assist you.
I wish you good health.
Best regards,
