Symptoms: Severe pain in all limbs and internal organs, painful itching, rash all over the body, including hands inside and out, swollen eyes/eyelids/all around eyes (which is NEVER the case otherwise), swollen cheeks and chin area, numb feeling in the face, especially cheeks. My general practitioners/dermatologists have not been able to give me a diagnosis so far and have injected cortisone (the rash temporarily improved afterwards).
Good day, I am happy to help you further.
You should immediately see a rheumatologist, as it appears to be a generalized inflammatory reaction that can be attributed to the rheumatic spectrum. It is best to have yourself examined at an internal medicine clinic that can also involve other specialists (hematologist, allergist, and endocrinologist).
Please have this clarified quickly, as the cause needs to be identified and treated specifically.
Do you have any questions about this? I am happy to help you further.
All the best and a speedy recovery!
