Another question about my moles

Hello Dr. Hamann,

I already had contact with you last week regarding the removal of moles and my fear that something serious might come out of it... I am still waiting for the results.

Out of fear, I had an ultrasound of the abdominal organs yesterday, and the doctor (general practitioner) did not find anything suspicious. I imagine I have pain all over my body, bone pain... could I already have bone metastases without anything being detected in the ultrasound of the organs? I am in total panic and completely losing it. Would the doctor have noticed something in the ultrasound if it was already very advanced, and can bone metastases come first and then affect the abdominal organs?

Please give me a short answer, I am completely on edge.

Best regards.

Dr. med. Kathrin Hamann

Good day, I am happy to help you further.

I can understand your fear and would like to reassure you. The ultrasound showed no abnormalities, so nothing in the kidney, liver, or pancreas.
This is very good, because the liver is one of the first places for metastases, and if there was something there, it can be detected quite well and especially early.

Please do not worry. Bone metastases develop rather slowly and often only become noticeable through fractures in the affected bone.

Try to relax. I am still very confident that everything will be fine with the result.

Warm regards
Yours
