Burning at the end of urination
I (male, 39 years old) have been suffering from bladder pain for 4 days now, with the situation having improved since yesterday but not completely gone. The pain is moderate and bearable, mainly manifesting as a burning sensation at the end of urination, which sometimes radiates into the penis. The burning sensation continues for a while after urination. Between bathroom visits, I feel pressure and slight pain in the bladder area and also in the area of the groin.
Multiple urine tests using test strips showed no abnormalities (leukocytes, nitrites, erythrocytes, and hemoglobin are all within normal range).
Urination itself is otherwise normal, with no sudden urge, retention, interruptions, or similar issues. At the beginning of the problem, there was a slightly increased frequency with smaller amounts and a weaker stream, as well as more concentrated urine, but these were not significant.
I have no flank or back pain, no testicular pain, no perineal pain, and no prostate pain (the pain region is clearly separate from the prostate).
There have been no general symptoms such as elevated body temperature at any point.
The symptoms developed or intensified over a period of approximately 24 hours.
I have not had sexual contact in the last seven months, so a sexually transmitted disease can be ruled out.
I do not have any symptoms during bowel movements or ejaculation.
What could this be?
