Problems after breast surgery

I am 43 years old, 1.70m tall and weigh 60kg. Two years ago, I had my breasts enlarged with 295ml under the chest muscle. After that, I had constant swelling and pressure in the chest for 9 months. Since the breasts were slightly sagging and due to the pressure, I was operated on again in July 2011. The implants were placed on the chest muscle and the breasts were lifted. However, I am experiencing the same problems again. It feels like the breasts are under pressure and the underwire of the bra is pressing against the ribs. Sometimes it feels stronger, sometimes less. It feels like the bra is too tight.
Dear patient,
It is normal for the tissue to be initially stretched over the additional volume during breast enlargement, and for complaints such as those you described to occur. However, this usually disappears within a few days and weeks, which unfortunately is not the case for you. It seems that your tissue is unable to adapt well. Since this is still the case after the second surgery, the only option is to consider whether a compromise can be found with significantly smaller implants between the compatibility or adaptability of your connective tissue and aesthetics.
Please take this into consideration and discuss it with your surgeon.
Best regards,
Dr. R. Berg
