Plantar fasciitis bilaterally?
Male, 85 kg, 181 cm.
When I get up in the morning, both of my soles hurt during the first few steps. During the day I don't have any problems, but I have an office job that involves mostly sitting.
At first, I couldn't pinpoint exactly where the pain was coming from, but after some research I believe it might be plantar fasciitis. Both sides have been affected at the same time.
I have been doing foot and calf stretching exercises daily for a week now. The pain is slightly worse in the left side in the mornings. When I stretch my calf muscles, I feel it more on the left side.
My question is, should I rest more and continue stretching for a few more minutes, or should I go for many light walks in good shoes? Would insoles be a good idea?
Thank you.
