lung cancer

I had a lung CT in April 2011, everything was fine. I had a cold 4 weeks ago and since then I have had a persistent cough with phlegm. After coughing, the saliva was tinged with blood, but not much was seen. Now I am constantly trying to cough to see if there are possibly any more traces of blood. I had a CRP test done last week, it was 0.48 mg/L.
My question: Could it be that I have lung cancer?

Dr. med. Kathrin Hamann

Hello,

do you smoke? Do you have any other lung problems (asthma or COPD, bronchiectasis)?

I am happy to help you further.

Best regards,

Dr. K. Hamann
