Fear of a tumor
Good morning,
I went to the doctor because of a stabbing pain in my abdomen, sometimes on the level of the liver, sometimes in the lower left abdomen, and sometimes in the lower right abdomen. I already asked this question here, but I can't find peace of mind. A internist did an ultrasound but found nothing. She examined (liver, gallbladder, kidneys, spleen, and pancreas, but couldn't see it completely). The liver was a bit brighter than normal but it's not serious, probably just a bit overweight. Because I can't stop thinking about it, I got another blood test done.
- White blood cells 8.9
- Red blood cells 5.4
- Hemoglobin 16.6
- Hematocrit 51%
- MCV 94
- RDW 12.3
- MCH 31
- MCHC 33
- Platelets 263
- Creatinine 0.96
- Uric acid 6.6
- Alkaline phosphatase 70
- Alpha amylase 46
- Gamma GT 23
- GOT 24
- GPT 37
- Lipase 31
- Triglycerides 141
- Cholesterol 261
- TSH 2.21
I'm afraid that this twinge is caused by a tumor or something else sinister. What else could this be caused by? Are these tests sufficient?
