2. Question ABOUT Fear

2. Question about ALS anxiety.

My blood values are all okay, about 60 values were examined. I have already been to 2 neurologists who have conducted all examinations. I am not taking any medication. An MRI of the skull has also been done.

My problem is that the muscle twitches continue, and my right arm burns after physical activity. Could this burning be an ALS symptom?

I believe I have read that ALS does not cause pain or burning sensations.

What else could I do? Should I go back to the neurologist, even though I have already been there twice?

Please advise, it seems that there are many people who experience these twitches ...

Yes, these twitches are quite common. They are called fasciculations. This is not a typical symptom of ALS. Rather, a muscular cause should be investigated. This can also be done by a neurologist, especially focusing on the neuromuscular coupling. Have Nerve Conduction Studies (NLG) and Electromyography (EMG) already been done? In your case, I would recommend consulting the neurologist again and also seeing an internist.

I am happy to help further.
