bruises on fingers and hand

Hello, since today I have bruises on my ring finger, a bit on my pinky finger, and in the palm of my hand.

I can't remember any "accident/fall" that could have caused this.

The bruises are not painful.

What could this be? Could it be a paroxysmal finger hematoma? Can this occur on multiple fingers and in the palm of the hand SIMULTANEOUSLY?

The wrist has been hurting for 2 days, similar to tendonitis before the bruises appeared.

Male, 31, no pre-existing conditions.

Good evening,

It doesn't actually look like a paroxysmal finger hematoma, and as you correctly suspect, it doesn't usually appear in such a distributed manner at the same time.

In relation to the complaints in your wrist, I would rather think of an inflammatory process, although often nothing comes out when trying to determine such phenomena.

Therefore, my recommendation would be for you to have your coagulation and inflammation values determined by your general practitioner, but don't be surprised if the spots disappear on their own soon and nothing is found.

If it develops differently, a rheumatologist would be the right specialist for further investigation.

I hope this helps you. If you have any further questions, I am happy to help.
