Is blood sugar still within range?

Hello,
I am a 35-year-old male, 198cm tall and 125kg, and I am currently focusing on my blood sugar levels. Especially after finding out that my paternal family has a history of diabetes. Using a standard blood glucose meter, I have documented the following values:
Fasting 9-12 hours:
91
111
106
95
93 (this morning)
Measured 2 hours after meals:
112
106
97
106
89
Measured 3 hours after meals:
97
92
75
These values are from the last 2 months.
Unfortunately, based on the information available to me, the fasting values are only borderline high. However, the values after meals look better.
Do these results require further investigation?
Dear questioner, the values look good... except for the slightly elevated fasting glucose.
However...
By definition, an oral glucose tolerance test is needed to test for diabetes. You will be given a defined amount of sugar solution to drink, and your blood glucose level will be measured before fasting, as well as one and two hours after drinking it.
Conventional measuring devices may deviate by up to 30% from the actual value, so they are more for rough guidance when someone has diabetes. Therefore, if you measure 100, the actual value could vary between 70 and 130.
Additionally, the long-term glucose value HbA1c can be measured in the blood, providing an indication of your glucose levels over the past few months.
Please consult with a doctor to discuss and potentially undergo testing. Do you have any questions?
