Tingling in the testicle-groin area

I have had a tingling sensation in my left testicle and groin area for 14 days. Sometimes it's there, sometimes it's not. I rule out a hernia because there is no bump to be seen. The testicle is also not swollen. When I spread my legs, the sensation goes away. 14 days ago, I had a calf cramp. Could there be a connection here?

Sincerely,
Dieter Reufel

Good evening Mr. Reufel,

From your description, it seems likely that a cutaneous nerve is irritated, specifically depending on the position. This is not related to the calf cramp and usually goes away on its own. So there is no need to worry.

Dr. Schaaf
