Bruised testicles

Good evening!
About two hours ago, I moderately bruised my testicles - actually more like "squashed" them. This happened in a simple situation. When I wanted to sit down on the bus, a rather hefty gentleman pressed himself so forcefully into the seat next to me that, from a standing position with closed knees (the gentleman didn't give me any more space), I crashed onto my seat. During this involuntary, rapid "sitting down" from about half a meter high, unfortunately my testicles and their accompanying cords didn't have much space due to the closed knees, and were quite forcefully squeezed between my thighs and against each other (which I painfully noticed).
The pain was gone after a few minutes, only occasionally a very slight pulling sensation is felt. The testicles and surrounding area are not swollen or discolored in any way.
However, since there are some conflicting information on this topic, here is my question to the experts: Can such a squashing have serious consequences in the long term or even cause testicular cancer?

Good evening, have you asked your question twice?

I am happy to help you further and provide you with the answer again. I will report it to the moderator so that you will not be charged double.

First of all, I want to reassure you that cancer will not develop from this bruise. There will also be no other serious consequences.

A swelling may develop in the coming days, and bruising with discoloration is possible. But it does not necessarily have to be the case.

The fact that the pain is only occasional now is a good sign. Also, the fact that it is not swollen, although that may potentially still happen.
In general, I want to reassure you that you do not need to fear cancer development.

Do you have any questions about this? I am happy to help you further.

All the best and a speedy recovery!

Kind regards,

Dr. K. Hamann
