Cycling with an untreated inguinal hernia.

Can I ride a bike without fearing any health disadvantages with an untreated right inguinal hernia that only occasionally causes me slight discomfort?

Dear inquirer,
There are no concerns that should prevent you from riding a bike. The strain on the abdominal muscles and inguinal canal while cycling does not pose a risk for a hernia. It is not likely that the hernia would become trapped during this activity. Also, it is not expected that the hernia would be aggravated by this activity.
I hope this answer helps you, if not, feel free to ask for more information.
Best regards,
