Bone marrow edema
I had an MRI of the ankle which shows, among other things, a significant bone marrow edema of the basal caput tali measuring 1.4 by 1.6 cm without any bone impression. I am now supposed to walk with crutches. The injury occurred 6 weeks ago. Is this advisable? I have been wearing an orthosis for three weeks.
