Tonsillitis
Dear Sir or Madam,
On Thursday, I had severe headaches and body aches, as well as slight sore throat with fever which worsened on Friday.
I then went to see a general practitioner to get a sick note, and he looked in my throat and saw that my tonsils were slightly swollen and had tiny pus-filled bumps. He immediately prescribed me Penicillin.
I must say that this was the first time I had any issues with my tonsils.
My question is, was it really necessary for me to receive Penicillin? Because since Sunday, I have been symptom-free in my throat and felt physically great on Saturday.
And I also wanted to know whether I should have my tonsils removed or leave them in, because I am rarely sick!
