Skin condition on the head and arm Pimple Inflammation Does not heal
I have an inflammation/pimple on my arm and on the back of my head, or whatever else I should call it. I have had such an inflammation on my right arm 3 times before, which lasted for several weeks each time. Eventually, they disappeared.
The two on my arm are not going away. Unfortunately, I have had them for several months now. I have already seen 2 dermatologists. I have been prescribed 2 different creams. One cream is called: fucicort 20mg fusidic acid. I don't remember the name of the other cream.
Both creams did not help, initially the wound was not as inflamed anymore but it did not heal over several weeks.
The wound on my head is itchy and I constantly scratch at it. There is always a layer of skin on the wound that is very soft but also firm. It does not heal, even if I leave it alone for weeks.
What is this on my head and what medication would help me fight it and finally get rid of it? Which cream should my doctor prescribe for me? Unfortunately, I have a late appointment with my doctor and wanted to get some advice here in advance on which prescription medication I would need to potentially discuss it with my doctor.
I am currently not taking any medication, I have noticed that I have an intolerance to certain foods, so I rarely take esomeprazole for heartburn when I consume the intolerant food. This gives me heartburn.
