Unclear EMG results

Hello,

I have been experiencing fasciculations for about 4 months. Mainly in my calves and feet, but also in my right hand. Additionally, I have sporadic twitches in other parts of my body, such as my buttocks, thighs, triceps, etc.

Because of this, I have seen several doctors who have not been able to find a cause so far. In May, I had an EMG which was inconclusive, resulting in the diagnosis of benign fasciculation syndrome.

Today, about 3 months later, I had a second EMG. This one showed increased amplitudes of potentials. I do not have the exact value, but it was apparently still within the normal range, but at the upper limit and higher than in the first EMG.

Unfortunately, I do not fully understand what these results mean. The neurologist, to be honest, did not seem to know exactly either, and wanted to think about it first.

So my question to you is, what does this mean?

Thank you in advance...
