Tingling in the face cervical spine?
Hello,
I am very anxious, maybe you can help me. It all started over a week ago. For over 12 years, I have had a pain between my right eye corner and the bridge of my nose. It feels like a tearing sensation. The pain usually lasts for a whole day and only goes away overnight. Sometimes nasal drops help. The ENT doctor at the time said it could be a sinus problem. Last week, I had a panic phase with this pain and it made me quite crazy. From this pain, a tingling sensation developed. Now, for over a week, I have had a tingling sensation around my right eye and nose. It is not always continuous and it moves around. Sometimes it tingles above the eye, sometimes below the eye, on the side of the nostril, and sometimes I feel a tingling sensation on the nose. It feels like nerve tingling. When I lightly touch these areas with my finger, it stops immediately. Also, what is noticeable is that when I have slept, it is completely gone for 1-3 hours. In everyday life, it starts again. I saw my doctor, who said it is muscular and coming from the side neck muscle and the upper cervical spine. Because I also have a cervical spine syndrome. As a hypochondriac, I naturally try to believe it, but the fear is still there, what if it's something serious. Stroke, (although it wouldn't announce itself over a week?), MS, or brain tumor. My question is, can something like this also be triggered by anxiety and stress over such a long time and throughout the day? I can sometimes think of nothing else but these discomforts. Can it really be triggered by the cervical spine and muscles? I can also say that my blood values are always okay. 36 years old female. Blood pressure 100/65 Weight 61kg. Non-smoker.
