Facial paralysis.

Hello, I have had facial paralysis on the left side for 8 weeks with an unknown cause (all examinations have been inconclusive - EKG, MRI, blood tests, and reflexes). During facial exercises, when I lift the left corner of my mouth, I hear a buzzing in my left ear, but only when I do the exercises. Could it be related to a nerve blockade?
Dear inquirer,
Hopefully, you have also been examined by an ENT doctor. The auditory and balance nerve can be affected in cases of facial paralysis. The facial nerve also controls a nerve that triggers the so-called stapedius reflex, which changes the stiffness of the chain of auditory ossicles. This can also be associated with noises, as long as they are not constant, it is harmless. Do you have any questions?
