Lack of drive - Right medication

I have been suffering from severe depressive episodes for years, with a main symptom being a lack of drive. I initially received Citalopram, which was increased to 60 mg over time. For the past 3 months, I have been taking 300 mg of Venlafaxine, but unfortunately, there has been no significant improvement. Now I have been advised to combine it with Elontril. Can this be a solution? What are the experiences with this combination?
Good evening,
the treatment of Venlafaxine + Elontril in combination can indeed finally bring improvement. This is a combination that is successful in many cases.
It's a shame that Citalopram did not help them.
In any case, the sleep-wake cycle should also be considered. Do you suffer from sleep disorders and feel tired during the day?
I am happy to help you further.
Best regards,
