Rheumatism/Secondary Hyperparathyroidism/Vitamin D deficiency - unclear lab values
Dear Sir or Madam,
I would like to ask you some questions regarding laboratory tests. I am a 51 year old female. Last week, Dr. Berg helped me here and is somewhat familiar with the medical history.
Latest diagnoses:
Secondary hyperparathyroidism due to vitamin D deficiency
Anxiety disorder and depression
2 splenic lesions (currently being investigated)
Steatosis hepatis (diagnosed when I was a young adult, I do not drink alcohol at all, have been slightly overweight for 2 years, previously always had a normal weight)
Laboratory:
Incidentally, antibodies against actin were found, investigation for ASMA
2/10 ASMA: atypical fluorescence pattern, investigation for vimentin (vimentin was not detected)
Hemostaseology:
Abnormal:
PTT 38.2 (22.5-35.7) elevated
Lupus ratio PTT 1.11 (above 1.07) elevated
Lupus anticoagulant index 36.88 (up to 15) elevated
Normal:
Kaolin clotting time
Quick (TPZ)
Thrombin time
Lupus anticoagulant
DRVVT Screen Lupus
IgG cardiolipin antibodies
QUESTIONS:
- What does the presence of ASMA, actin, vimentin, and the 3 elevated values in hemostaseology mean?
- Should I undergo further investigations, or is there no need for it?
- What does neuromuscular balance mean in relation to secondary hyperparathyroidism due to vitamin D deficiency?
Thank you in advance for your efforts and
kind regards.
