Relief through salt

Hello, I have been suffering from various physical and cognitive symptoms for years. I have noticed that my athletic performance can be immediately improved by consuming salt. Not like endurance athletes who want to prevent a deficiency, but for me, performance is immediately enhanced. My electrolyte levels are normal.

What other direct effects does salt intake have? From what I have read, it could affect blood volume and pH levels. Are these possible factors?

Good morning,

I am happy to help you further.
Which salt are you referring to that gives you an immediate energy boost?
Is it pure table salt? And in what quantities do you consume it?

Electrolytes directly influence blood volume by shifting fluid into the blood vessels.
But also the muscles depend on electrolytes. Especially the heart muscle can be strengthened or weakened directly by electrolyte changes.

To determine the effect more precisely, an electrophysiological examination can be carried out by a cardiologist or a cardiology clinic.

I am happy to help you further.

Best regards,
