Which pill is the right one for me?

Hello,

I have a question about birth control pills.
About a year ago (maybe even 1.5 years), I stopped taking the pill called Maxim. After 6 months, I started getting pimples. First on my forehead, then between my eyebrows and ears, then on my cheeks, and now completely on my chin.

I took Maxim because I had facial hair issues. Although my hair improved when I took the pill, after 3 years I wanted to stop, which I did.

Now my face looks very bad and it won't stop.

I want to start taking the pill again, but not for the pimples or the hair, only for contraception. I don't want to take anything against those issues and then have bad skin again. I just want to give my skin time to recover.

My question is now:
I want a pill that is LOW dose and NOT prescribed for acne and hair issues!
Would Asumate 20 be suitable for that? I used it before Maxim for contraception. Unfortunately, I don't know how my skin would have been afterwards, as I immediately started taking Maxim.

In my opinion, my gynecologist is inexperienced!

Hello,
The pill Maxim is one of the most commonly prescribed pills. It is also in my opinion one of the best, as it is the best tolerated.
What do you understand by a "light pill"? A pill always consists of hormones and there are no strong or weak hormones.
If there is excessive hair growth and acne, there are probably too many male hormones present. The Maxim is the right pill for that.
Assumate also provides reliable contraception, but does not have anti-androgenic effects.
