conception date

Good day,
I am currently in week 14+2 of my pregnancy.
My menstrual cycle is 25-27 days long.
My last period was on 15.2.2016 and lasted until 18.2.2016.
We had intercourse on 28.2, which is when our child must have been conceived.
Now my question is, at 10+3 weeks of pregnancy, my doctor moved me up to 11+1 weeks. Why would she do that if the conception day is clear?
Conception on 20.2, just 2 days after my period, can be ruled out, right? I am certain it must have been 28.2.
What do you think?
Good day,
The age in early pregnancy is not measured by the day of conception, but by the size of the child. If the calculated due date differs from the ultrasound, the week of pregnancy is adjusted. The date of intercourse does not have to be the date of fertilization. Sperm can survive in the body for up to 5 days, so the date of intercourse does not have to be the same as the date of fertilization.
All the best for you during your pregnancy.
Best regards,
Dr. Schröter
