Arilin Vaginal suppositories

Today I was prescribed Arilin vaginal suppositories by my gynecologist, as during last year's preventive examination there was a finding of Group II. Since I do not like taking antibiotics and have already had problems (I am 60 years old) with other antibiotics, my question is whether there is an alternative. I have heard of Mayoran suppositories. Please give me an open and honest opinion. Thank you very much.

Dear inquirer, I am happy to answer your question. First of all, a PAP II test result is completely normal and does not require any therapy. If you have been prescribed Arrilin, it may indicate a bacterial infection, which can be identified by increased discharge, burning in the vagina, or itching. Since you do not seem to have any of these symptoms, you may want to ask your gynecologist which bacteria she wants to treat (as antibiotics require the presence of bacteria).

Otherwise, vaginal flora imbalances without symptoms can be treated with lactic acid suppositories. Flora imbalances with symptoms are treated with VagiHex, which is antibiotic-free. Only a Chlamydia infection or Gonorrhea require antibiotic therapy.

I hope this information helps.
