White spot in the mouth

Hello,
I have had a white spot in my mouth for about a week. I do not feel any pain, but it is in a very awkward position. When I close my mouth, I automatically bite on it a little.
I do not smoke cigarettes or drink alcohol, but my oral hygiene is lacking. After some time on Google, I came across the disease "Leukoplakia", which is very shocking to me as it can be a precursor to a tumor.
I will add a picture to visualize my very simple (poor) explanation.
I hope you can help me.
Please go to the dentist.
It doesn't look directly like leukoplakia, but rather like a "harmless" inflammation. The simplest way to treat it is with a gargle solution, such as Hexoral, and "be careful" not to bite on it.
Eat meals, but not snacks all day, so that the area can rest. Rinse your mouth after every meal, first with water, then with the disinfectant solution.
The dentist can treat the area directly and will tell you what you need to change in your oral hygiene so that not only this area heals, but no more appear.
Do you have any questions?
